Sesa FA and Vasco SC played out a goalless draw in the CAM Goa Professional League (Relegation League) at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Monday.

Vasco SC now moved to 10 points from 12 games while Sesa FA continued to remain top in the relegation league with 16 points from 13 games.

Faheez had an early shot on goal which was saved by the Vasco keeper. At the other end, Cavin Lobo played a delightful through pass to Savlon Fernandes, who was through on goal and just had the keeper at his mercy, but his low shot narrowly missed the mark.

Vasco keeper Luis Barreto was strong under the bar making a couple of saves to keep his side in the game. At the other end, Savlon continued to miss his chances when once again Cavin Lobo fed the striker with a good through pass only to see the youngster shot wide.

In the second half, things continued in the same fashion as this time Sesa’s Roanal Gauncar came with a brilliant save to deny Cavin Lobo and the rebound was missed by Beevan D’Mello. Roanal Gauncar came with yet another save to deny Cavin Lobo, who struck from a distance and the keeper dived to his full length to keep the scores level. Later Vasco’s Francisco Fernandes had a shot at goal from a distance which sailed over the bar.

Both the sides made changes in the squad replacing the strikers, but the match saw no difference as the teams settled for a draw.
